Hi Blues (or Green’s for some of you now!)

I hope you’ve all had a lovely summer holiday and are looking forward to coming back to school. I have had a lovely break, thank you for making my last week so special. My niece and nephews loved Disneyland but Captain Hook scared my niece and after that she cried when any of the characters came near her. She liked the rides though. My nephew loves Buzz Lightyear and loved the ride until the end when he rode past the baddie, Zerg. I had to carry him off the ride crying. Oh dear! Apart from that I did lots of shopping and decorating my house which is nearly finished now.

It was the first day back for me and the children at my new school today. I taught Drama to the Year 1’s who were a bit nervous (a bit like me) but very good at pretending to be different animals and  met the new children in reception. Tomorrow I’m teaching all the juniors Drama.

I hope you enjoy starting in your new classes, I know you will do really well. Work hard and make me proud. I have spies who will let me know how you’re getting on!

Love Miss Woodcock xx

Summer Hols

Hi, Blue Class. I hope you’re all having a lovely holiday & making the most of the sunshine. Ben & I have been busy visiting friends and relatives, going swimming and cooking new recipes. Last Sunday we went to Knowsley Safari Park with Ben’s dad which was great fun. We saw lots of animals and they were so close you could almost touch them. There were deer, rhino, elephants, giraffe & tigers but our favourites were the beautiful lions & the naughty babboons. Ben went on the bungee trampoline twice but couldn’t do any somersaults. His dad & I laughed lots watching him try though! Ben had a great time with all of you on the last day of term. He still talks about it now – the 4 square, the stickers, winning a prize so thankyou all very much for being so kind and looking after him all day. Speak to you all soon. Love Mrs Amato.

My Holiday

June 7th, 2009 by blue

Hi everyone in Blue Class. I hope you’ve all had a a fantastic holiday, I know I have. My family & I went to Devon and it was hot & sunny all week. Every day we went to the beach, went swimming in the indoor pool and Ben played lots of football & cricket with his dad. We ate delicious ice-creams with clotted cream, pasties, chips & cream teas, Ben even had an Aero Mint milkshake! I had a very relaxing time and was able to do lots of reading & su-doku which I love. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow & hearing all your holiday news. Mrs Amato.

Our Trip Too Bramhall Hall By Loghan.

May 5th, 2009 by blue

Our trip was absolutly brilliant i loved it and i would like to give a big thankyou too all the teachers who also came. On our first work shop we went into the chapel and found out that children get married VERY young there was a little girl who got married at the age of 5 and her husband was 7 and the reason for them getting married young is when you get to the age of 40 in those days you would die! Our next one was writing with the quill pens which was realy exciting to the pens we have now-a-days were really different to those ones you had to dip it in ink and if ou wanted a thin line you had to tilt the pen to its side!
